ABOUT ATS Hugh Saurenman founded ATS Consulting in the fall of 2001 with the goal of performing acoustic evaluations for transportation and developing strategies for mitigation. The company’s influence and capabilities grew to the point that in October 2005 the business mode and legal name was changed to Acoustic Strategies, Inc. We continue to do business as ATS Consulting. ATS continues to help clients address noise and vibration analyses associated with rail transit (subways, light rail, commuter rail); freight railroads; highways and local road improvements; major infrastructure systems and government facilities; and new residential, commercial, and industrial development. ATS has been involved and continues to be involved in research projects related to surface transportation that have expanded both our and the industry’s depth of knowledge. The knowledge ATS has developed through field experience and research is an important element in developing strategies for successful completion of major transportation projects. We continue to work with our clients, and their clients, to bring thoughtful, timely, cost-effective solutions to the issues at hand. Our headquarters are in Southern California; our clients and projects are worldwide.
